Child & Family Services of Northeast Michigan

As an equally important part of our mission to promote high quality care for children, CFS 4C offers these services and supports to child care providers.

• WORKSHOPS - All CFS 4C workshops are presented with the purpose of helping child care providers in Northeast Michigan to offer the highest possible quality of care to our children.

• Michigan Child Care Futures Training - a variety of professional training services are offered to help child care professionals stay informed about the latest research and knowledge relating to child development as well as information about operating a small business.

• Tax Workshops - One of the challenges of operating a small business is to make it a financial success. These workshops are available annually to help child care providers file accurate tax returns and improve their profitability.

• RESOURCE LENDING LIBRARY- current child development information about the many issues relating to children and families (books, magazines, pamphlets and video tapes are available for check-out).

• NEWSLETTERS & BROCHURES - covering current issues, good ideas and special tips about child caring. Information is also available on conferences and other professional development opportunities.

• PHONE CONSULTATIONS & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE - information and support related to any child care issue.

• PROVIDER SUPPORT GROUPS - meetings are held in each county on a regular basis to offer opportunities for networking and professional growth.
