4C Community Coordinated Child Care

Child & Family Services 4C program is a child care resource and referral service that operates in nine Northeast Michigan counties. Parents using our services have reported that they found 4C to be a valuable time saver as they searched for child care. 4C child care consultants inform parents of the types of child care available, then supply them with a list of those providers who may best meet their family and child care needs. more
Child care providers also benefit from 4C services as potential families are referred to licensed or registered child care providers. The additional support of child care provider training, newsletters, and phone consultations continues to enhance both the quality and availability of child care in local communities throughout Northeast Michigan. more
• We serve Alcona, Alpena, Cheboygan, Iosco, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego and Presque Isle counties.
• CFS 4C is an ongoing child care resource and referral service. We believe that quality child care is in each communities best interest and CFS 4C operates towards the advancement of affordable, accessible and quality child care.
• We do not license nor inspect child care providers, nor do we make recommendations. We strongly urge parents to screen, visit, interview and choose a provider who can best meet their family needs.
Please contact our office if you would like a Child Care Referral, information about becoming a Child Care Provider, or if you would like to know about any other 4C resources.

4C Resource and Referral

As Northeast Michigan's only Child Care Resource and Referral Service. CFS 4C promotes quality services for children & families.
If you are looking for child care, a Child Care Consultant will obtain information regarding your family/child care needs such as your geographic living or work area, school, number of children needing care, special needs of children, and days and times that care is needed. All providers in CareFinder are licensed or registered by the Michigan Department of Consumer & Industry Services, Bureau of Family Services.
